County to Hire Additional Park Rangers
Finally some good news for those of us who use and enjoy the American River Parkway!
The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors has approved the hiring of four additional park rangers this year, on top of the two added last year.
The County now has 20 officers to monitor and patrol the 15,000 acre regional park system.

I’m sure you complain (as I do) when the tweakers wreck the drinking fountains. Enjoy the feeling of knowing you’re part of the solution by purchasing a parking pass to help support the system–even if you always park at Starbucks and run to the Parkway.
